Donation Allocation

Donations are used to support the mission and programs of Islamic Center of Muncie. While we make every effort to honor donor designations (such as Zakat, Education, Building Fund), we reserve the right to use donations where they are most needed if the designated purpose is no longer applicable.

Zakat Donations

Donations designated as Zakat will be distributed only to eligible recipients according to Islamic law. We maintain separate accounting for Zakat funds to ensure proper distribution.

Recurring Donations

If you set up a recurring monthly donation, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us or through your Stripe customer portal. Cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle.

Refund Policy

All donations are final and non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate charges due to technical error
• Unauthorized charges
• Charges made in error

To request a refund, please contact us within 30 days of the donation with your receipt and explanation. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Processing Fees

You have the option to cover payment processing fees (approximately 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction) to ensure 100% of your donation reaches our programs. This is optional and you may choose not to cover these fees.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our forms (contact, donation, assistance applications). You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information.

Data Collection and Use
